Paige & Joel

What a wonderfully fun wedding! This wedding was super unique in theme and location, and I like to refer to it as my classy rock n’ roll wedding. 

Paige and Joel’s wedding was located in downtown Portland, Maine in a historic building. They wanted their style to shine through these photos- and I think it does! This was one of my first weddings to photograph! It was also a smaller wedding where the ceremony and the reception took place at the same music venue location.

The bride and groom wanted pre-wedding pictures to be captured in various parts of downtown Portland, so we spent a few hours prior to the ceremony walking around to some cool cityscape spots, and then also posed in front of the wedding venue. I wanted to share this wedding with you because it too is another unique example of a wedding with about sixty guests, it is very urban, and I was asked to only photograph the pre-wedding pictures (though I did shoot some during as well).  Another great example of some great memories, and not needing to capture eight hours of your wedding.
